Pluvious
adj; of, or releating to, rain.

I love the rain. Not so much being out in it, but being aware of it while very much under shelter – or, if I must be a little cold and a little wet, the moment when you come indoors and the great rewarming starts to take effect. The sound of it beating against the window as I’m curled up on the sofa with a steaming cup of tea and some knitting is absolutely heavenly – the knowledge that while a storm rages on, I’m safe and cosy and warm.
